# Linear

> Set up a Linear personal API key for the Linear VFS.

## Credentials

### 1. Create a Personal API Key

1. Go to Settings -> Security & Access
2. Create a new personal API key
3. Copy the key

### 2. Set Environment Variables

```bash theme={null}
# .env.development
LINEAR_API_KEY=lin_api_xxxx...
```
